And then, 2020
TC celebrated its’ 10th anniversary virtually. As you can imagine, this was largely due to the impact that the coronavirus had on the world, but it also gave TC a chance to re-write the rules and make this popular in-person event even more accessible to more people than ever before.
The team decided to stretch the event over five days in order to make it easier for virtual attendees to take in all the amazing programming (no matter where their laptop sat). A parking garage housed an XR stage that broadcasted all programming to the online site where attendees could hop around from stage-to-stage or chat with other attendees without changing out of their sweats.
In the end, it was one of the most attended and diverse events in DISRUPT’s history.
